Senior UI/UX Designer – Educational Mobile App

We are seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to lead the design and user experience of our educational mobile application. This role will focus on creating intuitive, visually appealing, and highly engaging interfaces that enhance the learning journey for students while ensuring a seamless and delightful user experience. The ideal candidate is both creative and strategic, with experience designing mobile apps that drive user engagement and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end design process for our educational mobile app (concept, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI).
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitor analysis to inform design decisions.
• Create clean, user-friendly, and responsive designs that simplify complex educational interactions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and education specialists to bring designs to life.
• Establish and maintain a consistent design system, ensuring brand alignment across the app.
• Analyze user behavior and feedback to continuously improve the app experience.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in UI/UX, EdTech design, and mobile app experiences.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design with a focus on mobile applications.
• Strong portfolio showcasing mobile app design projects, preferably in EdTech or e-learning.
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar design tools.
• Experience with user-centered design (UCD), design thinking, and usability testing.
• Understanding of front-end development basics (HTML, CSS, React Native or Flutter collaboration experience is a plus).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.

• Experience designing for educational platforms, gamification, or learning apps.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
• Ability to balance business goals with user needs in design solutions.
• Strong visual design and motion/interaction design skills.
