We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our core engineering team and help design, build, and scale the infrastructure that powers our crypto compliance platform.

What You’ll Do

Build and scale Python-based microservices and REST APIs that power compliance workflows (e.g., sanctions screening, transaction monitoring)
Architect and maintain highly available, secure backend systems in the cloud (AWS/GCP)
Design and manage data pipelines and databases to ingest and analyze real-time and batch crypto transaction data.
Implement robust DevOps practices for continuous delivery, observability, and infrastructure-as-code.
Ensure compliance-grade security, logging, and auditability of backend systems.
Collaborate with product, data, and compliance teams to translate regulatory requirements into technical features
Mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions and best practices.

What You Bring

5+ years of backend engineering experience, with a strong focus on Python
Proven experience designing, scaling, and maintaining microservices and RESTful APIs
Strong understanding of relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases
Solid experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with secure development practices, API authentication (OAuth2, JWT), and compliance-oriented logging/auditing
Excellent communication skills and a startup mindset — you're proactive, adaptable, and ready to take ownership

Bonus Points For

Fintech or crypto industry experience
Knowledge of blockchain analytics, chain forensics, or crypto compliance tools
Familiarity with screening APIs (e.g., ComplyAdvantage, Chainalysis, Elliptic)
Experience with event-driven systems (Kafka, Pub/Sub)
Previous startup experience or greenfield system design
