About ORTH

ORTH is building the agentic operating system for growers. It starts with an AI agronomist that every person on a farm can ask, 24/7, from the field: what to spray, when to irrigate, what the satellite is seeing on a plot. It is growing into the system that plans, executes and tracks the work itself.

Over 250,000 growers use ORTH across Spain, France, Mexico and Latin America, from smallholders to large commercial operations. We combine AI advisory, satellite imagery, field operations and planning into one product, and we are building the intelligence layer for farming decisions.

Why this role exists

We are adding a new squad to our org, and we are not staffing it the old way. Instead of a designer, a PM and a chain of hand-offs, we are looking to hire one AI-native designer / builder who takes a problem from a grower's field to a shipped feature, using AI to do what used to take three roles.

You'll join a Product & Design team that already works this way. You'll be the design and product lead for the new squad: you find the problem, design and prototype the answer, define what engineering builds, convert your prototype into specs, and run the squad day-to-day.

This is a design role first. Craft, systems and taste are the foundation. What's different is how far you take it: past the Figma file, into working

What you'll own

You own the full loop for squad 3, and you run it in days, not quarters.

  1. Find the problem. Talk to growers and agronomists, dig into retention and usage data yourself. Use AI to synthesise research continuously, not in two-week cycles.
  2. Prototype it for real. Take designs past static frames into coded, clickable prototypes and agent flows within a day or two (Claude Code, Cursor, v0, Figma Make or similar). Design the conversational and agentic moments too, not just screens.
  3. Test it with real users. Put prototypes in front of growers in Spain, France and Latin America; decide fast what to kill.
  4. Define what ships. Hand engineering production-ready prototypes and Figma designs plus the requirements behind them: acceptance criteria, edge cases, and for AI features the evals that define "good" before we build.
  5. Run the squad. Own the backlog and priorities, lead daily stand-ups and planning, unblock engineers, and make the trade-off calls on scope.
  6. Ship, measure and learn. Review what gets built against the design, instrument every release, read the numbers yourself, and feed what you learn into the next loop.

Along the way you'll help the design team evolve: new AI workflows, design-to-code tooling and system components you build become how we all work.

Who you are

You must have:

  • A portfolio of shipped product design, end-to-end, used by real people. Typically 5+ years in product design; at least one 0-to-1 is a strong plus. Show us the problem, your process and the outcome, not just the final screens.
  • AI as your primary way of building, not a side tool. You prototype in code with AI agents (Claude Code, Cursor, v0, Figma Make or similar), you've designed or built something with LLMs or agents, and you can show it running.
  • Design systems experience. You've built, maintained or scaled a design system: tokens, components, documentation, and keeping design and code in sync.
  • Strong UX and interaction fundamentals. Information architecture, flows, mobile-first patterns, accessibility, and visual craft. You know when polish matters and when it doesn't.
  • Expert Figma skills. Auto layout, variants, components, prototyping; you build files other designers and engineers can work from.
  • Delivery ownership. You've led a squad's day-to-day or worked as a designer who drove priorities, ran rituals and said no. Engineers like working with you.
  • Clear communication in English: crisp design rationale, short specs.

Strong pluses:

  • Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
  • Experience building agriculture, food or climate software/SaaS/integrations.
  • Front-end engineering background (React/TypeScript).

How we hire

We care about what you've built, not your CV.

To apply, send the following to hr@aydi.com:

  1. Your portfolio, with at least one case study that goes beyond Figma (a live product, coded prototype, repo or 2-minute screen recording).
  2. Short answer (under 150 words): What did you design or build with AI in the last 3 months, and what did it change?

The process:

  1. Product Design Lead (30 min): your story, your craft, and what you want next.
  2. CPO (30 min): how you think about product, AI and running a squad.
  3. Portfolio review (1 hour): share your screen and walk us through a real thing you built yourself, live: the product, the prototype or code, the Figma files behind it, and the decisions you made. No slide decks; please come ready to screen-share.
  4. Final conversation with our CEO and founder (30 min).

What we offer

  • Salary: Competitive pay at the top of the market
  • Location: UK / EU remote working
  • Time off: 23 days per year
  • Health: Gym membership via Wellhub
  • Tools: Any AI tools you want, paid for: Claude, OpenAI, and whatever comes next.
  • Impact: Your work reaches over 250,000 growers in a sector that feeds people and is still early in using AI.
  • Field time: Regular visits to farms and growers in our markets.
