Senior Java Software Engineer

Contractor – Full-time Remote (Mexico)

We are currently looking for highly skilled Software Engineers to join a long-term digital transformation initiative with one of our U.S.-based clients in the financial sector.

Technical Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in software development using Java
• Deep knowledge of the Java ecosystem, including JDK 8+ features (Streams, Lambdas, etc.)
• Strong hands-on experience with the Spring Framework, including:
• Spring Boot (microservices)
• Spring MVC (RESTful services)
• Spring Data (database integration)
• Spring Security (authentication/authorization)
• Proficiency with Apache Kafka, including:
• Understanding of event streaming patterns and message delivery semantics
• Solid understanding and practical implementation of microservices architecture
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs, with attention to scalability and security
• Exposure to Docker and container-based deployments
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (certifications are a plus)
• Unit testing and test automation experience using frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, etc.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Advanced level – B2/C1 or higher)
