Job Description

As a Software Engineer of the Infrastructure Delivery Engineering (IDE) team, you will take an active role in the automation and acceleration of infrastructure delivery.

We are looking for a highly talented and experienced APEX engineer to help lead the most critical functions of our Cloud business, skilled in the design, delivery and ongoing support of Oracle APEX Applications.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be energized and driven by solving problems in new and innovative ways. Candidates must be comfortable working in an ever-changing environment and have the ability to engage with stakeholders to identify minimal viable product for rapid delivery of new technology solutions.

• BS or MS degree in CS or equivalent experience relevant to functional area
• Strong knowledge of Oracle APEX and SQL/PLSQL, with 3+ years experience
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline for APEX development cycle
• Hands on experience building Java API integrations with APEX is preferable
• JavaScript, and CSS will be essential in optimizing performance and ensuring the robustness of applications
• Demonstrable knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, distributed systems fundamentals. Experience with clouds is a plus!
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
• Cloud fundamentals are plus: understanding the building blocks of critical IaaS services, such as Compute, Block Storage, Networking.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,800 - $178,100 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
