Role Overview

As their Founding Software Engineer in Program Analysis & AI, you’ll own the design and implementation of core systems that parse, analyse, and test code at scale. You’ll collaborate closely with the leadership team to define technical strategy, prototype AI-powered modules, and integrate both static and dynamic analyses into production pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and implement parsers and intermediate representations (ASTs, CFGs, data-flow graphs)
Develop AI-driven components for automatic test-case suggestion and refinement
Integrate static and dynamic analysis tools into CI/CD workflows
Lead end-to-end delivery from proof-of-concept to production
Shape best practices, tooling, and technical roadmap in a lean startup environment

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Production experience in at least one systems language (C++, Rust, or Java)
Proficiency with a scripting language (e.g., Python) for rapid prototyping
Strong understanding of program representations and compiler-style IRs
Hands-on familiarity with static analysis techniques (data-flow, abstract interpretation, alias analysis)
Experience using program analysis frameworks (LLVM, Soot, or equivalents)
Self-starter with proven ownership in an early-stage setting
Legal authorization to work in the UK

Desirable Skills

PhD or equivalent research in program analysis, compilers, software security, or AI-driven software engineering
Experience with dynamic analysis and building automated bug-finding tools
Prior work integrating analysis tools into CI/CD environments
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Exposure to AI agent frameworks or custom workflow automation
