Optomi, in partnership with a leading logistics and transportation services organization, is seeking a .NET Integration Engineer to join an urgent and high-impact SaaS implementation initiative.
About the Role:
As a .NET Integration Engineer, you will play a critical role in modernizing the company's pickup and delivery platform. This involves methodically replacing components of a legacy, home-grown application suite with a new vendor-provided SaaS solution. You'll contribute to a fast-moving, collaborative team environment focused on unraveling legacy dependencies, building robust data integrations, and ensuring seamless system functionality throughout the transition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with system enhancements and integrations during a multi-phase SaaS implementation.
- Develop and support .NET-based integrations, primarily using Event Hub SDK to manage data flow between legacy systems and the new vendor platform.
- Analyze existing applications to uncover and document data mappings, dependencies, and integration points.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain system stability while decoupling legacy components.
- Quickly learn and navigate a complex, on-premises ecosystem to provide rapid, effective solutions.
- Support efforts to ensure downstream systems can consume vendor-provided data outputs without disruption.
- Work hand-in-hand with the team to keep progress moving despite resource constraints.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in .NET development with strong backend logic and integration work.
- Proficiency in working with Oracle databases and enterprise-level data environments.
- Experience using Azure Event Hub SDK (or similar message/event streaming frameworks).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to understand legacy code and data flows.
- Ability to quickly onboard and contribute in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments.
- Excellent communication, flexibility, and a true team-player mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in enterprise application modernization or re-platforming.
- Experience analyzing and refactoring complex, organically grown system architectures with tightly coupled dependencies.
- Background in logistics, transportation, or supply chain platforms is a plus.
This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on a critical modernization effort—if you're someone who thrives in fast-paced, hands-on environments and enjoys solving real-world system integration challenges, we encourage you to apply!
