Optomi, in partnership with a software company that develops a clinical trials software platform for the pharmaceutical space, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to fulfill a contract-to-hire opportunity with a client based out of the Carolinas.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of professional experience in system design and web application development
• Proven experience developing event-driven applications using .NET 6.0 or higher
• Proficient in building RESTful services with C# and .NET
• Hands-on experience with Azure development technologies, including: Azure Functions & Durable Functions, Azure Data Factory, EventGrid, EventHub, Azure Service Bus, CosmosDB
• Deep understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Command Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS)
• Strong grasp of object-oriented design patterns and principles
• Skilled in unit testing and test-driven development (TDD)
• Capable of debugging and profiling .NET applications
