Senior Software Engineer (Go / Kubernetes / GCP) - 100% Remote - Long term contract

Optomi, in partnership with a Fortune 10 retail home improvement company, is looking for Senior Software Engineers to join the Infrastructure team building applications focused on human to service interactions of their latest Retail platform. In this role, you have the opportunity to become part of a high-performing team working on a Kubernetes environment with Grafana to automate their infrastructure for handling network events. This team is a mix of SRE/networking/systems engineers, looking to interview and hire ASAP!

Experience of the right candidate:

• 5+ years of Go experience
• 3+ years of cloud experience (GCP, AWS, etc.)
• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Grafana
• Experience with React is a plus

Technical Environment: Go, React, Bash, Terraform, Kubernetes, Grafana, Spinnaker, GitHub Actions, GCP, BigQuery, Blaccard Linux

We will be putting a high emphasis on:

• Developing scalable applications in Golang and React
• Improving deployment processes to Grafana on Kubernetes
• Leveraging GitHub Actions for automation with Terraform
• Utilizing your GCP Cloud and CI/CD skills
