Optomi, in partnership with an innovative SaaS technology client, is seeking a Senior Product Designer with expertise in design systems to help scale and mature their internal and design system. This is a great opportunity for a creative thinker who’s passionate about crafting intuitive, inclusive, and highly engaging user experiences across both digital and physical spaces.

The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in user-centered design, an expert-level understanding of design systems at scale, and hands-on experience with Figma and component-based design. You’ll collaborate closely with product, engineering, and fellow designers to deliver high-impact solutions from concept through execution—while serving as a design systems SME.

What You Will Do:

Design and deliver responsive, user-centered experiences across platforms
Create wireframes, flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals
Serve as the subject matter expert for design systems—leading governance, documentation, and component design
Contribute to and evolve design systems and style guides
Apply accessibility and inclusive design principles
Collaborate cross-functionally to align design with technical feasibility and business goals
Conduct UX audits and help define design strategy through clear documentation
Stay current on design trends, tools, and emerging technologies (especially AI and multimodal interaction)

The Right Candidate Will Have:

7+ years of UX/Product Design experience with 3+ years of hands-on design systems expertise.
Expertise in Figma and prototyping tools
Proven leadership in design systems strategy and implementation at scale
Strong UI, visual design, and interaction skills
Experience designing with accessibility standards (WCAG)
Excellent communicator and collaborator
A compelling portfolio showcasing end-to-end design and design systems contributions (must include at least 1 example of design systems work)
Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript); React/Next.js a plus
