Optomi, in partnership with a leading enterprise technology organization, is seeking a Product Designer to develop browser-based AI products, conversational tools, and data-driven dashboards for internal employee use. This role does not focus on design thinking but requires someone who can navigate ambiguity and iterate quickly in a fast-paced environment.

This role is open to remote in the US but must be able to work EST hours - being based in the NY/NJ area highly preferred.

What You’ll Do:

Design AI-powered enterprise products while maintaining consistency with established design systems and accessibility standards
Conduct competitive UX research to define best practices and inform design decisions
Create documentation, including site maps, user flows, personas, and wireframes
Use Figma for design and prototyping, collaborating with cross-functional teams
Present research and design solutions to stakeholders and leadership
Work closely with the UX Lead to develop reusable design system patterns and templates

What You’ll Need:

5+ years of professional design experience, with 2+ years working within and contributing to design systems (enterprise experience preferred)
1+ years of professional experience designing AI products across multiple platforms
Bachelor’s degree in design, HCI, or a related field
Expertise in Figma, FigJam, and working knowledge of accessibility guidelines
Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions
A professional portfolio showcasing relevant work (must include link in resume or application)
