Optomi, in partnership with a leader in the community- based health sector industry, is seeking a Software Engineer (.NET) to design, develop, and maintain web-based software solutions in a collaborative Agile/Scrum environment. This 100% remote, direct hire role is ideal for an engineer with strong fundamentals, hands-on .NET development skills, and a passion for solving real-world problems.

Experience of the Right Candidate:
- Strong software engineering fundamentals β not just buzzwords
- Proficiency in .NET MVC, Entity Framework, C#, ASP.NET, jQuery, JavaScript, and ReactJS
- Experience with SQL Server, including creating/modifying stored procedures, functions, and triggers
- Familiarity with Azure App Services and Azure DevOps
- Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Dynamics 365, Canvas Apps) is a plus
- Ability to work directly with stakeholders without traditional PM or BA support
- Clear, concise communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Stable work history with long-term project contributions
Responsibilities of the Right Candidate:
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain .NET applications and business intelligence platforms
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, architectural discussions, and design approvals
- Write clean, high-quality, maintainable code for multiple platforms
- Customize and enhance business applications, including Dynamics 365 and SharePoint
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives
- Support and improve coding standards, best practices, and documentation
- Perform thorough testing and troubleshoot application issues
- Contribute to the long-term technical vision of the team and mentor junior developers as needed
