Lead Software Engineer(100% Remote, Java/AWS, Driving App Development)

Optomi is partnering with a top-tier client in the logistics and supply chain space to hire a Lead Software Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. You'll design, develop, and deliver scalable enterprise applications while mentoring a high-performing engineering team and collaborating with cross-functional leaders.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead full-stack enterprise application development across critical logistics platforms

• Collaborate with Solution Architects to translate business needs into scalable solutions

• Guide junior engineers with technical mentorship, code reviews, and hands-on development

• Own sprint planning, agile ceremonies, and SDLC best practices

• Define and implement CI/CD pipelines and monitoring strategies

• Develop clean, well-tested code in Java/Spring Boot with front-end exposure to Angular

• Work cross-functionally with product, UX, and business teams to drive innovation

What You Bring:

• 7+ years of enterprise software engineering experience

• Strong Java backend expertise (Spring Boot, microservices)

• Experience with front-end tech (Angular, TypeScript, Ionic, NgRx preferred)

• Proficiency with DevOps tools and CI/CD best practices

• Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS preferred)

• Knowledge of Kafka/event-driven architecture, Docker/Kubernetes

• Comfortable working with both relational and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Oracle, MySQL)
