Cloud Software Engineer - IoT C#/Azure (m/f/d)

Optimus Search is eager to partner with innovative company focused on developing IoT solutions specifically for the building technology sector. The company is particularly known for its efforts to create an IoT industry standard for smart buildings and smart homes, making it a key player in the digital transformation of the construction and real estate industries. They are seeking a Senior C# IoT Cloud Engineer to join their Cloud Division.

Responsibilities:

• You will oversee software modules within the IoT sector, guiding them from the initial planning stages through to market launch.
• You will be involved in the planning, developing, testing software modules and microservices for our IoT-based backend.
• You will be maintaining, analyzing, and enhancing existing cloud-based software modules.
• Provide expertise to support the project team in Cloud Software Issue, Release, and Change Management.
• Regularly collaborate with the team and project management, assisting with effort estimates for project planning.

To Qualify for this position:

• You hold a degree in computer science or a related technical/computer science field.
• You have a strong background in microservice-based software architectures.
• Familiarity with IoT systems and Microsoft Azure technology.
• You are well-versed in concepts such as APIs, REST, PaaS, SaaS, OAuth2, Containers, Events, Versioning, Web and Microservices.
• You have excellent programming skills with experience in C#/.NET.
• Proficiency in German will complete your profile for effective communication within the team and with clients.
