The Role in a Nutshell
You’re a blend of growth marketer, team operator, and creative strategist. You’ll own Optimite’s email engine—driving revenue for 10–15 Shopify brands with data-backed campaigns and Klaviyo automations that spark opens, clicks, and lifetime value. You’ll rally a small, elite team to turn bold ideas into flawless weekly sends, refine our playbooks and QA workflows, and mentor peers in an inclusive, experiment-first culture.

What You’ll Do
- Own Strategy & Planning
- Create and manage monthly campaign and flow calendars across 10–15 Shopify brands
- Identify lifecycle gaps, segmentation opportunities, and high-ROI playbooks
- Make Klaviyo a competitive advantage for every client
- Lead a Cross-Functional Team
- Manage a team of email designers, developers, copywriters, and account managers
- Ensure smooth coordination and on-time delivery using ClickUp/Notion
- Give feedback that sharpens both creative quality and execution
- Drive Results & Accountability
- Review campaign and flow performance weekly; identify what's working and what's not
- Own email-attributed revenue growth for each client — both campaigns and automations
- Ensure reporting, QA, and client deliverables are airtight
- Build and Improve Systems
- Create and refine SOPs for briefs, QA, feedback, and reporting
- Optimize workflows to reduce delays, scope creep, and execution bottlenecks
- Contribute to building internal tools and dashboards for visibility
What You Must Have
- 4+ years of email marketing experience (agency or in-house for DTC brands)
- Strong experience with Klaviyo, Figma (review level), and project tools like ClickUp or Notion
- Proven ability to manage a team of 5–10 and oversee 8–15 active clients
- Demonstrated ownership of $250K+ in monthly email-attributed revenue
- Strong leadership and communication skills — both async and live
