Director of Marketing - Israel

Job Description:

A leading company specializing in the development and manufacturing of advanced night-vision detectors, located in Northern Israel, is seeking a business-oriented Director of Marketing (Israel). In this role, you will lead the marketing of products and solutions to domestic customers, manage end-to-end commercial opportunities, and build long-term relationships with strategic clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Initiate and develop business opportunities with existing and potential customers.
• Identify customer needs and evaluate solution alignment.
• Lead the proposal preparation process, including technical responses, commercial terms, and schedules.
• Conduct proposal reviews and secure internal approvals according to company procedures.
• Manage commercial negotiations through to deal closure and booking orders.
• Hand over booked orders to relevant internal teams and initiate program kick-offs.
• Maintain ongoing customer relationships throughout the order lifecycle and lead strategic meetings (roadmaps, follow-on orders, framework agreements).
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and export control licensing, as required.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Physics.
• MBA – significant advantage.
• Proven experience in marketing, sales, or business development within a defense contractor or electro-optical products company – Mandatory.
• Proven experience managing complex commercial processes and proposal preparation – Mandatory.
• Proven experience working with strategic accounts and negotiating complex deals – Mandatory.
• Familiarity working in a defense/global organizational setting – significant advantage.
• Strong technical background with the ability to quickly master complex technologies.
• Native/Fluent Hebrew and English – Mandatory.
• Willingness for domestic and international travel as needed.
