Senior Software Engineer

Job Title: Senior .NET Engineer / Dev Lead / Architect (Contract – Multiple Openings)

Location: Remote (Preference for U.S.-based or strong overlap with EST)

About the Project:

A large-scale modernization effort is underway for a high-traffic digital payments platform used by thousands of end-users daily. This system currently generates millions in annual revenue and is undergoing urgent re-architecture due to recent stability and performance challenges. Legacy components—including outdated CRM systems and on-premise infrastructure—are being replaced with modern, scalable .NET-based solutions designed to be infrastructure-agnostic across AWS and Azure.

This is a critical, time-sensitive project, and we are seeking elite talent who can hit the ground running, solve problems proactively, and raise the engineering standard across the board.

Open Roles:

We are hiring across three key tiers:

1. .NET Architect

o Own and drive architecture for backend services and integrations

o Deliver sequence diagrams, system flows, and rationale for architectural decisions

o Evaluate tradeoffs across Azure and AWS ecosystems, ensuring performance and scalability

o Define technical direction with clarity and documentation

2. Dev Lead / Senior Engineer

o Lead sprint planning, unblock junior team members, and provide technical oversight

o Be the bridge between onshore and offshore teams

o Guide delivery quality and ensure architectural alignment

o Write production-grade code, drive PR quality, and enforce development best practices

3. Individual Contributor (Senior .NET Engineer)

o Contribute to rewriting legacy APIs using .NET 8

o Assist in data migration, app stabilization, and load testing

o Troubleshoot blockers independently and move quickly through deliverables

o Work closely with leads and architects to deliver key modernization goals

Contract Details:

• Initial contract is 1–2 months, focused on a tightly scoped modernization effort
• Clear deliverables include API rewrites, architectural design, sequence diagrams, data migration, and stabilization
• Opportunity to extend into broader work based on performance
