About the Role:As a member of IT Engineering, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and improving Opendoor’s IT infrastructure. In addition to being accountable for the performance of much of the hardware and software tooling the company uses everyday, our team also plays a large part in setting goals and establishing processes for IT. We work proactively, strive to find the best answers, and believe collaboration is critical for team success.

With privileged access to systems, being on an on-call rotation, serving as an escalation point for the most challenging requests received by our IT Support team, and always having infrastructure projects to help deliver, Junior IT Engineers must be able to manage diverse workstreams. Some after hours work or travel may also be required. This role will provide motivated individuals with many opportunities to develop their skills and have an impact across the business.

In This Role You Will:

• Administer a wide variety of SaaS products.
• Mentor our IT Technicians and act as an escalation point for any complex issues.
• Perform changes and maintenance tasks related to our corporate network, MDM, IdP and more.
• Draft technical documentation for both IT and end users.
• Collaborate with the rest of IT Engineering and the IT Support team.
• Surface persistent issues and suggest improvements.

We're Looking For Teammates Who Have:

• Six years of education and/or experience in IT
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a quick study
• Ability to process highly technical information
• Have supported SaaS apps in a corporate environment
• Highly proficient in macOS and Windows administration
• Networking fluency
• A broad understanding of ITSM practices

Bonus Points For:

• Experience in a fast-paced, startup environment
• Used tools such as Jamf, SCCM, Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), Workspace ONE (AirWatch)
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, ITIL, or Jamf 200-400
• Familiarity with Okta, Azure AD, OneLogin, or Centrify
• Worked with phone systems like Five9, Genesys, inContact, Twilio, or RingCentral
