Engineering Manager - Remote

About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled Engineering Manager to lead software product development across multiple geographically dispersed teams. This role demands strong technical expertise, exceptional leadership abilities, and experience managing distributed teams to drive high-quality software delivery and align engineering efforts with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor software engineering teams across various locations, promoting collaboration and innovation.

• Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle of software products, ensuring timely delivery and high quality.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and set priorities.

• Optimize engineering processes by implementing best practices and agile methodologies.

• Provide technical direction and architectural guidance for scalable, efficient solutions.

• Monitor team performance, conduct regular evaluations, and support individual career growth.

• Identify and mitigate risks to ensure smooth and successful project execution.

• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives.

• Manage resource planning, hiring, and onboarding to support team productivity and growth.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

• Proven experience managing offshore or distributed development teams.

• Strong understanding of modern software development practices, cloud platforms, and technology stacks.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Hands-on experience with agile development methodologies.

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based architectures.

• Familiarity with challenges in global software development and effective solutions.

• Understanding of compliance and security best practices in distributed team environments.
