Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re looking to hire a Sr. UX/UI Designer. This is a fully remote role and a 6 month contract which may extend.

We are looking for a portfolio that includes case studies of accessibility guidelines and designing for optimal accessibility.

Responsibilities:

In collaboration with the UX Research team, dive into existing user research, metrics and balance with intuition and sensibility and translate user needs into tangible experiences for our solutions
Present ideas and concepts to other designers, product managers and other cross-functional stakeholders
Partner with research to define questions to ask and problems to explore
Solve complex design problems and drive multiple efforts simultaneously
Approach the writing experience with consideration for the larger platform experience and business model
Deeply understand how products connect beyond your own program area, and be mindful of touchpoints in the overall user journey across the latform

Requirements:

Portfolio that demonstrates your design work in web and mobile solutions. We want to see and understand your process and how you collaborate across functions within the Product Development Lifecycle.
Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Visual Communication, Digital Design, Product Design, Human Centered Design, or related field required. MFA or advanced degree a plus.
7+ years' work experience in product development, user experience design, product design, creative, or marketing industries.
Product development experience in Ed Tech a plus.
Extensive experience creating low and high fidelity journey maps, workflows, sketches and design documentation.
High-level understanding of accessibility guidelines and designing for optimal accessibility

*To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
