Overview
This Theatrical Motion Graphic Designer / Animator role supports an entertainment agency by contributing to the execution and delivery of motion graphics and animation for high-profile theatrical and streaming campaigns. The position combines creative and technical responsibilities, requiring strong attention to detail, adaptability, and collaboration with producers and creative teams to meet tight deadlines and uphold quality standards.

Theatrical Motion Graphic Designer / Animator Duties
- Design and execute motion graphics including logos, title cards, and integrated copy cards
- Perform graphic finishing tasks including quality control, adhering to naming conventions and delivery specs
- Rotoscope and track elements for integrated copy and design work
- Support campaign maintenance including copy updates and reformatting for shifting creative directions
- Prepare assets for multi-platform use, with a focus on TV and digital formats
- Collaborate on technical problem-solving to ensure creative quality under tight timelines
- Assist with various production tasks as needed throughout different stages of campaign execution
Theatrical Motion Graphic Designer / Animator Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant experience in motion design and animation
- Skilled in After Effects and Cinema 4D
- Recent experience in motion graphics and animation for entertainment marketing (theatrical and streaming)
- Familiarity with QC processes and campaign delivery pipelines
- Comfortable with production-level work and campaign maintenance
- Skilled in rotoscoping and tracking
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to independently identify and correct errors
- Ability to adapt to evolving project needs and workflows
