Overview
The Sr. Director of Performance Marketing is responsible for leading and executing B2B and B2C performance marketing strategies with a primary focus on lead generation, growth performance, and full-funnel optimization.
This role oversees $100M of a $150M media budget and drives measurable results across both Residential and Commercial brands through owned, earned, and paid media channels. The position requires deep expertise in SEM, SEO, AEO, content creation, advanced attribution, AI-driven marketing, and data analysis. The Senior Director will lead a team of ~25 professionals, collaborate across marketing, customer experience, operations, and sales, and serve as a critical strategic partner to the CMO and senior leadership team.

Schedule: Remote, MUST work live in EST or CST and work on EST, no exceptions.
Salary Range: $160,000 - $180,000 base.
*Role is also Bonus and LTI eligible.
Sr. Director of Performance Marketing Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience:
- 10+ years in marketing leadership, with at least 7 years directly in performance marketing (resume must show performance marketing specifically).
- Proven experience leading national-scale, field-based businesses.
- Direct responsibility for large-scale media budgets ($75M+).
- Demonstrated leadership of AI initiatives in marketing.
- Strong experience in both B2B and B2C branding and marketing, CRM, and customer relationship management.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Deep expertise in lead generation, nurturing, and performance optimization.
- Strong knowledge of incrementality testing, MMM (Marketing Mix Modeling), attribution, automation, and predictive analytics.
- Proficiency across media planning (CTV, Out-of-Home, streaming audio, short-form video, partnerships, AI-driven creative optimization).
- Advanced data and analytics skills, including visualization, forecasting, and performance roadmapping.
- Expert-level knowledge of Google platforms (Ads, YouTube, GA4, GSC, Big Query).
- Superior written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills, detail orientation, and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Excellent people management skills with experience leading large, diverse, and dispersed teams.
Sr. Director of Performance Marketing Duties
- Develop and execute vision, strategies, and plans to drive measurable growth through digital transformation and performance marketing.
- Oversee and optimize paid, owned, and earned media channels to maximize LTV:CAC, conversion rates, and overall campaign performance.
- Lead bottom-of-the-funnel strategies and full-funnel orchestration, integrating SEM, SEO, content, paid social, organic social, and rapid content development.
- Implement advanced attribution models, personalization at scale, experimentation frameworks, and AI-driven marketing solutions.
- Produce and refine performance marketing insights, forecasts, and recommendations through deep analysis of data and trends.
- Partner with finance to rigorously track and optimize against key performance indicators, including LTV and CAC.
- Manage relationships with agencies, vendors, and media partners, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of ~25 marketing professionals across multiple disciplines and locations.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies, platforms, and AI capabilities, ensuring the business maintains a competitive edge.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership, including sales, operations, and customer experience teams, to align on business objectives and performance outcomes.
- Support business development initiatives and provide strategic guidance on content and brand consistency across channels.
