Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re looking to hire a Senior UX/UI Designer/Games for a popular Entertainment Brand.

This role has the potential to play pivotal role in shaping the UX and interface art for an exciting adventure game

This is a remote/PST long term contract role.

Responsibilities:

Support UX and the UI art on an adventure game currently in development
Pitch, wireframe, and mockup our UX needs as well as contribute to the UI art for systems in the game.
Collaborate with other designers and craft experts to develop engaging gameplay and systems. Advocate for best practices in UI/UX for narrative games, acting as the subject matter expert on all things UX for our game.
Collaborate across studio disciplines to explore, test, and evolve the game.

Requirements:

5+ years working in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design for Games
Experience working with IP and narrative game systems
Must have experience with cloud platform like Stadia, Luna or other non standard controller systems like AR, VR, theme parks or experimental interactive installation work.
Preference for candidates who have working familiarity with Unity, Miro, Figma, Jira, Confluence, and experience in motion design and/or animation.
Ability to work autonomously and independently while understanding a larger team ecosystem
Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
