Overview:
We are seeking a Lifecycle + Retention Marketing Manager with deep expertise in CRM strategy, app engagement, and marketing technology. This role is responsible for developing and executing personalized, data-driven campaigns to improve customer experience and retention through advanced marketing automation, segmentation, and in-app messaging strategies.
The ideal candidate will have experience at an enterprise business where they handled this type of work in lifecycle and retention.

Pay: $55 - $60/hr, paid weekly, benefits eligible
Lifecycle Marketing Manager Duties:
- Lead end-to-end execution and optimization of app-focused CRM campaigns to drive engagement and retention.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Brand, Mar-tech Engineering, Design, Legal, Analytics, and other stakeholders to align on campaign strategies and technical capabilities.
- Manage and execute a CRM roadmap focused on mobile engagement using tools such as Braze, Segment, HTML, SQL, and related CRM platforms.
- Design and implement multi-channel, personalized marketing automation workflows using advanced logic, connected content, and testing frameworks.
- Conduct ongoing analysis and reporting of campaign performance, providing actionable insights to optimize content and improve results.
- Own longitudinal and multi-variant testing to refine segmentation, message cadence, and creative performance.
- Ensure campaigns adhere to legal requirements and best practices in data privacy, deliverability, and user experience.
- Communicate clearly across teams regarding campaign status, launch timelines, blockers, and dependencies.
- Occasionally work non-standard hours depending on campaign schedules and urgency.
Lifecycle Marketing Manager Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in CRM or Marketing Automation managing complex, multi-channel campaigns.
- Must have experience in Braze, with experience using connected content, webhooks, canvas logic, and liquid templating.
- Strong skills in HTML and SQL, and comfort working within ESP or automation platforms.
- Demonstrated success in driving user engagement through app-focused CRM strategies.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute under tight timelines.
- Deep understanding of data segmentation, personalization, and performance attribution.
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as CAN-SPAM, CASL, and GDPR.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Passion for customer experience and enthusiasm for supporting small business communities.
