Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re looking to hire a Data Scientist for a Global Financial/Crypto client.

This is a 6+ month contract opportunity. The role is fully remote.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain a robust framework for Earnings and Competitive Data.
Build and optimize data models and pipelines to facilitate data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Aggregate and process data from multiple internal and external sources.
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver insights on business performance and key metrics.
Manage recurring data deliverables for management reporting and strategic decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in data analytics or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex data challenges.
Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
Ability to engage with cross-functional teams, including senior leadership, to translate data insights into business impact.
Strong aptitude for leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Computer Science.
Preferably 4+ years of relevant experience in data analytics, financial modeling, or a related domain.
