About Ready Movers

Ready Movers is a multi-location removals and storage business operating across Australia, with branches in Brisbane, Townsville, Cairns, Darwin, Adelaide and Perth. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to strengthen our online presence, improve local search visibility and ensure accurate business information across all platforms.

This is a full-time, long-term remote position for someone based in the Philippines who can work Australian business hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Role Overview

Your primary focus will be managing Ready Movers’ local SEO, citations, Google Business Profiles, social media content and basic WordPress updates across all six branches.

You will use platforms such as BrightLocal’s Citation Builder to build, update and clean up listings that influence local search visibility. You will also help optimise our Google Business Profiles, YouTube channel, LinkedIn, X and WordPress website.

Key Responsibilities

Local Citation Management & Data Cleanup

Audit Ready Movers’ business information across online directories and listings.

Use BrightLocal or similar tools to correct inconsistent NAP data (name, address and phone number) and build new local citations.

Ensure accurate, consistent branch details across platforms such as Bing Places, Yellow Pages, White Pages, Yelp and relevant industry directories.

Monitor and resolve duplicate, incorrect or outdated listings.

Google Business Profile Optimisation

Manage and optimise Google Business Profiles for all six Ready Movers branches.

Update categories, descriptions, services, photos, opening hours and business information.

Publish regular posts, promotions, customer reviews and service updates.

Monitor profile insights, customer activity and local ranking performance.

Respond to reviews professionally and forward relevant reviews or concerns to the appropriate Ready Movers tea ---------- mbers.

Content Posting & Social Media Management

Create and schedule engaging content for YouTube, LinkedIn, X and Google Business Profiles.

Publish short-form videos, customer reviews, moving tips, team content, promotions and service updates.

Maintain a content calendar that includes professional, informative, fun and review-based content.

Work with the Ready Movers team to collect photos, videos, reviews and branch updates.

WordPress Support

Provide basic WordPress support for website updates and minor changes.

Update service areas, promotions, page content and branch information when required.

Assist the SEO and digital marketing team to keep website information accurate and current.

SEO Strategy & Reporting

Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis for local moving, storage and packing services.

Support off-page SEO activities, including citation building and backlink outreach.

Track results using Google Analytics, Google Search Console and local SEO tools.

Provide clear reports and practical recommendations to improve rankings, leads and online visibility.

Qualifications

At least three years’ experience in local SEO, citation building and multi-location digital marketing.

Strong experience using BrightLocal or similar citation-management platforms.

Proven ability to optimise and manage Google Business Profiles.

Understanding of local SEO ranking factors and Google Maps visibility.

Basic WordPress skills for website updates and minor content changes.

Experience creating and scheduling posts for YouTube, LinkedIn and Google Business Profiles.

Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Strong attention to detail, especially when managing business information across multiple locations.

Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and provide regular progress updates.
