Data Platform / DevTools Product
Client: Early-stage, VC-backed startup
About the Company
Our client is a venture-funded startup founded by engineers from NASA, AWS, LinkedIn, Meta, MIT, and other top-tier institutions. They’re building a data intelligence platform focused on securing and optimizing the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
The product helps engineering, GRC, and security teams detect risks early, ensure secure coding practices, and improve developer productivity. It integrates with browsers, IDEs, and CI/CD pipelines, providing deep insights into developer workflows.
What You’ll Do
As a Full-Stack Engineer in the Applications team, you’ll take full ownership of end-to-end feature delivery—from working with APIs and backend systems to building browser extensions, IDE plugins, and front-end components.
- Develop full-stack features: data layer → APIs → UI
- Build and enhance web app, browser extensions, and IDE plugins
- Work closely with APIs and surface insights from the data platform
- Design and maintain both public and internal APIs
- Collaborate with the infrastructure team on cloud-native deployment (Kubernetes, GCP)
- Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code
- Participate in code reviews and mentor other engineers
- Contribute to hiring and technical culture
Tech Stack
- Backend: Go (primary), Kotlin/Java/Python
- Frontend: TypeScript with any modern JS framework (Svelte is used, but not required — React, Vue, Angular all accepted)
- Data & Infra: PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Terraform, GCP
- CI/CD: GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Docker
- Bonus: Experience with immutable data, Linux profiling, and open-source search systems
