Salary Range
This compensation range considers a wide range of factors, including, but not limited to, skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate is not adjusted for geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled. At One Call, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

Job Summary
The Senior UX/UI Designer will lead the design efforts to create intuitive and engaging user experiences for our digital products. This role requires a deep understanding of user-centered design and research principles and the ability to translate complex requirements into user-friendly interfaces. The Senior UX/UI Designer will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure the final product meets both user needs and business goals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- User Research & Understanding: Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points. Analyze user data and feedback to inform design decisions.
- Design & Prototyping: Translate user needs into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. Creating user flows, designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces (UI), and focusing on user experience (UX) to ensure a seamless and enjoyable interaction for end users.
- Usability Testing & Iteration: Conduct usability tests to identify usability issues and areas for improvement. Based on user feedback and testing results, Iterate on designs.
- Collaboration & Communication: Collaborating with product managers, engineers, business representatives, and stakeholders to communicate design ideas and rationale. Present designs and gather feedback.
- Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Identify and solve complex design problems by making strategic design and user-experience decisions and thinking critically about user needs and design solutions.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in design tools. For example, Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision, and knowledge of visual design principles (color theory, typography, layout, etc.).
- Establish UX/UI standards: Advocate for UX and UI design best practices, establish a UX process and mindset within the company, and help create a style guide or design system to ensure uniformity across all digital products.
Educational And Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in UX/UI design, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects.
- Proficiency in UX/UI design tools as outlined above.

- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders.

Physical/Mental Demands & Work Environment
- This position will be performed in the colleague’s home. Work-from-home requirements include the colleague’s ability to set up computer equipment within their home office.
- This job is primarily sedentary and may involve repetitive motions; the colleague must be able to remain stationary for extended periods, operate a computer and other office equipment, assess information and files stored electronically, and converse/exchange accurate information with others, simultaneously.
- The colleague must be able to discern text displayed on a monitor, input data into specific fields using a keyboard, and adjust focus to distances of up to three feet.
- The colleague must be able to learn new tasks, follow established processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, complete multiple tasks simultaneously, communicate professionally with colleagues and customers, and complete tasks in situations that require speed or productivity.
- The colleague must be able to manage moderate to significant mental stress because of, but not limited to, a dynamic and heavy workload.
