- This is 100% Remote opportunity. The work to be performed under this Task Order (TO).
- Period of Performance: The anticipated period of performance shall consist of one (1) Base Year of 12-months and four (4) 12-month Option Years.
- Total Work Hour: 1920 hours for each candidate (Total 5760 Hours).
- Registered for Selective Service (males born after 12-31-1959). A Status Information Letter is required for any male born after 12-31-1959 that is not registered with Selective Service.
Job Description:
HQARS: Requires support services for on-going maintenance activities. HQARS supports the departmental accounting systems for receiving, validating, and consolidating expenditure reports and submission of consolidated treasury report. The HQARS system contains 12 subsystems and interfaces with many other application systems. HQARS runs on a Unisys mainframe system .
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for research, design, and development of computer software.
- Requires the application of principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
- Under general direction, performs high-level systems analysis, design, development, integration, documentation, and implementation of application software that requires a thorough knowledge of technical skills.
- Directs and participates in all phases of system development with emphasis on analysis, evaluation, integration, testing and acceptance phases.
- Analyzes software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
- Responsible for ensuring the quality of services delivered for particular HQARS task(s).
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's and minimum 7 years of relevant experience.

Proficiency in COBOL development is required for this position.
