About the Team

OTC Trading Services provides cutting-edge technology that covers all aspects of crypto OTC trading. We build low-latency connectivity to global crypto venues, strategies for automated pricing and trading bots and bespoke OTC client connectives.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for Java Software Engineer of OTC Trading Services team, mainly developing applications supporting electronic trading with exchanges and brokers on cash products, trading on 24/7 basis. The candidate will work with product manager and business development team to develop crypto trading products, strategies and both pre-trade and post-trade services to support high-availability trading and client connectivity projects. She/He should be self-motivated, enthusiastic and a flexible team player and will be expected to collaborate with other teams in local and remote locations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Participate in drafting FIX API for vanilla crypto products including but not limited to cash, fx, derivative, in market data/quoting, trading, position report scenarios.
• Design and build FIX API portal, which can be easily integrated with various product lines and be able to support multiple clients with high availability, high throughput and low latency.
• Optimize market making strategies to provide global liquidity and build accounting tools to automate operation requirement.
• Day-to-day work will include analysis, design, development, testing, and certification with clients.
• Level 2 support for applications and monitor overall service performance.
• Work in an agile team of developers to support different phases of the product lifecycle including analysis, development and testing.

What We Look For In You:

• Solid STEM (Science/Technology/Engineering/Mathematics) education background.
• 2+ years Java programming experience and a solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment, with high sense of urgency.
• Good interpersonal skills: patient, positive, and persistent when dealing with others with strong communication skills.
• Spoken and written English is required.

Good to have:

• FIX protocol knowledge, FIX 4.2 – FIX 5.0
• Experience in practicing automated testing and continuous integration.
