Key Responsibilities:
Digital Growth & Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital growth strategy to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention as the sole marketing strategist
- Independently identify and leverage emerging digital trends, technologies, and platforms to enhance business growth
- Personally execute data analytics and performance marketing techniques to optimize campaigns and improve ROI
- Single-handedly manage SEO, SEM, content marketing, email marketing, and paid media strategies to enhance digital footprint
- Drive growth hacking initiatives with entrepreneurial spirit to accelerate user adoption and conversion rates
Branding & Digital Presence:
- Own complete brand positioning and storytelling to ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints
- Enhance brand visibility, perception, and reputation through self-directed innovative digital campaigns
- Independently manage brand identity across social media, websites, digital ads, and other online platforms
- Develop and execute engaging omnichannel marketing strategies without team support
Strategic Leadership:
- Work directly with the CEO/Founder to align marketing strategies with company vision
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and customer experience teams while being the sole marketing voice
- Build relationships with external resources (freelancers, agencies) to supplement capabilities when needed
- Advocate for marketing priorities at the executive level with confidence and data-backed insights
Performance Monitoring & Analytics:
- Establish and independently track key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital growth and branding effectiveness
- Utilize Google Analytics, CRM tools, and marketing automation platforms for autonomous decision-making
- Design and execute A/B testing, audience segmentation, and predictive analytics without team support
Partnerships & Innovation:
- Identify and manage relationships with digital agencies, influencers, and technology partners as the company's sole marketing representative
- Independently explore collaborations, sponsorships, and co-branding opportunities to amplify brand reach
- Drive adoption of AI, automation, and personalization technologies with minimal resources
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors/Master's degree in Marketing, Digital Strategy, Business Administration, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, branding, and growth strategies, with proven success in scaling startups
- Demonstrated ability to succeed as a solo marketing leader or in small team environments
- Proven track record of driving hyper-growth for startups through digital marketing initiatives
- Deep expertise in performance marketing, growth hacking, content strategy, and social media marketing
- Strong understanding of Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, programmatic advertising, and CRM tools
- Experience in data analytics, customer segmentation, and digital user journey optimization
- Excellent self-management, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to wear multiple hats and execute with limited resources
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in e-commerce, fintech, SaaS, or digital-first brands
- Knowledge of MarTech platforms, AI-driven marketing, and personalization engines
- Strong expertise in storytelling, creative branding, and community engagement
- History of successfully working directly with founders and C-level executives
- Experience building marketing functions from the ground up in startup environments
