About The Role

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code
• Implement performance and quality modules
• Investigate issues as reported by operations and other engineering teams
• Characterisation of hardware behaviour and performance
• Proposing solutions and estimating time and cost of implementation
• Help maintain code quality, organisation, and automatisation
• Writing tests to validate accuracy and conformity of code
• Review and maintain code written by others
• Comply with team standards
• Collaborate with other teams
• Create and maintain documentation

About You

• Extensive experience developing control software (preferably for industrial applications)
• Strong problem-solving credentials, technical leadership and ability to innovate
• Strong proficiency in modern C++, with fair knowledge of the language specification
