What is Obinex?

Obinex is a Pre-Seed stage Startup on a mission to develop a simple ecosystem to facilitate the adoption of the centralized economy in the decentralized space and give way to a more secure centralization. As we are in a very early stage, the equity offering is the only part of the conversation until we are funded. This will be subject to a probationary and vesting period.

What will you do?

As a Product Designer in a FinTech Pre-Seed startup, you will design user-centric products that integrate blockchain and DeFi features, simplifying complex financial processes. You’ll collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to create intuitive interfaces, conduct user research, and iterate designs based on feedback. Your role will also involve ensuring regulatory compliance and security in designs while helping to shape the startup's product vision and brand identity.

• Product Conceptualization: Define user needs and translate them into product concepts, leveraging Web3 and blockchain insights.
• User Research: Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather data on the pain points and expectations of early adopters.
• Wireframing & Prototyping: Create low- and high-fidelity prototypes to iterate quickly on ideas and solutions.
• UI/UX Design: Design seamless, secure, and intuitive user interfaces, considering the complexity of FinTech and Web3 transactions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and the founding team to align on product goals and prioritize features.
• Compliance & Security Design: Ensure that designs meet regulatory and security requirements critical in the FinTech space.
• User Education: Design tools or interfaces that simplify complex Web3 and FinTech concepts for end-users, promoting adoption.
• Iterative Design: Continuously improve the product based on feedback, testing, and new Web3/FinTech innovations.
• Branding: Develop a cohesive brand experience that communicates trust and innovation, essential in early-stage FinTech startups.

What will you bring?

• FinTech & Web3 Knowledge: Strong understanding of blockchain, cryptocurrencies, DeFi, and digital wallets, along with basic FinTech concepts.
• UI/UX Expertise: Proficiency in user-centric design processes, including wireframing, prototyping, and creating user flows that simplify complex interactions.
• Design Tools Mastery: Expertise in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD for creating high-fidelity designs.
• User Research Skills: Ability to conduct user research, usability testing, and interpret data to inform design decisions.
• Collaboration & Communication: Strong communication and teamwork skills to align with developers, product managers, and stakeholders in an early-stage environment.
• Agility & Adaptability: Ability to work in fast-paced, uncertain environments and iterate quickly based on feedback and changing priorities.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Creative approach to solving complex FinTech challenges, such as security, compliance, and user adoption hurdles.
• Startup Experience: Prior experience or comfort with early-stage startups, wearing multiple hats, and contributing to various aspects of product design and development.

• Equity: Compensation based on equity (Incentive Stock Options contract) until we secure a funding round (2 to 3 months)
