What is Obinex?

Obinex is a Pre-Seed stage Startup on a mission to develop a simple ecosystem to facilitate the adoption of the centralized economy in the decentralized space and give way to a more secure centralization. As we are in a very early stage, the equity offering is the only part of the conversation until we are funded. This will be subject to a probationary and vesting period.

What will you do?

As a Product Designer in a FinTech Pre-Seed startup, you will design user-centric products that integrate blockchain and DeFi features, simplifying complex financial processes. You’ll collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to create intuitive interfaces, conduct user research, and iterate designs based on feedback. Your role will also involve ensuring regulatory compliance and security in designs while helping to shape the startup's product vision and brand identity.

• Game UX & Gamification: Design engaging game-like experiences for Web3 trading, rewards, and user progression.
• Game UI & Visual Aesthetics: Create high-fidelity interfaces that merge traditional gaming aesthetics with DeFi and CEX elements.
• Color Theory & Typography: Develop visually striking themes that enhance engagement, contrast, and readability.
• Crypto Dashboard & Player HUDs: Design interactive trading dashboards, token staking interfaces, and NFT reward systems.
• Microinteractions & Animations: Implement smooth transitions, interactive elements, and motion graphics to enhance the player experience.
• Design Systems & Components: Develop a scalable UI kit and reusable assets to maintain consistency across Web3 applications.
• Player Progression & Rewards: Design achievement systems, in-game incentives, and tokenized loyalty programs.
• Accessibility: Optimize UI for various screen modes and user accessibility needs.

What will you bring?

• Gaming Design Experience: 3+ years designing UX/UI for video games or gamified products.
• Gaming Portfolio: Game interfaces, visual dashboards, progression mechanics, or collectibles.
• FinTech & Web3 Knowledge: Strong understanding of blockchain, cryptocurrencies, CeFi, and digital wallets, along with basic FinTech concepts.
• UI/UX Expertise: Proficiency in user-centric design processes, including wireframing, prototyping, and creating user flows that simplify complex interactions.
• Design Tools Mastery: Expertise in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD for creating high-fidelity designs.
• User Research Skills: Ability to conduct user research, usability testing, and interpret data to inform design decisions.
• Collaboration & Communication: Strong communication and teamwork skills to align with developers, product managers, and stakeholders in an early-stage environment.
• Agility & Adaptability: Ability to work in fast-paced, uncertain environments and iterate quickly based on feedback and changing priorities.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Creative approach to solving complex FinTech challenges, such as security, compliance, and user adoption hurdles.
• Startup Experience: Prior experience or comfort with early-stage startups, wearing multiple hats, and contributing to various aspects of product design and development.

• Equity: Compensation based on equity (Incentive Stock Options contract) until we secure a funding round (2 to 3 months)
