What is Obinex?

Obinex is a Pre-Seed stage Startup on a mission to develop a simple ecosystem to facilitate the adoption of the centralized economy in the decentralized space and give way to a more secure centralization. As we are in a very early stage, the equity offering is the only part of the conversation until we secure a funding round. This will be subject to a probationary and vesting period.

What will you do?

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineering Manager to lead a cross-functional team in building the next generation of our gamified crypto exchange. The ideal candidate is deeply passionate about Web3, real-time trading infrastructure, and team leadership, with a proven track record in delivering high-performance, scalable, and secure applications. You will play a critical role in aligning engineering execution with product vision, fostering a culture of technical excellence, and ensuring the successful delivery of our MVP and future releases.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the daily work of both Frontend and Backend Engineers, including standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Maintain team motivation and alignment with company goals.
• Ensure the quality, scalability, and security of all codebases.
• Review pull requests and provide technical guidance when needed.
• Help unblock engineers and support architecture discussions.
• Ensure timely delivery of all technical milestones, especially the MVP demo.
• Identify bottlenecks and proactively solve delivery issues.
• Translate product requirements into actionable technical tasks.
• Work closely with the Product Owner to prioritize and plan sprint content.
• Conduct weekly check-ins with engineers to track progress and resolve blockers.
• Provide mentorship and professional development advice.
• Ensure team members have everything they need to succeed (tools, access, clarity).
• Report progress, risks, and status updates directly to the CEO and stakeholders.
• Serve as the main point of contact for all engineering operations during the interim.
• Improve development processes and team efficiency.
• Ensure best practices are followed (e.g., code reviews, CI/CD, testing).

What will you bring?

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science is required for this position.
• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience (preferably both frontend and backend).
• 5+ years of experience coding in Python and Golang is a must.
• 2+ years of experience managing engineering teams.
• Proven experience in fast-paced startup or fintech environments.
• Strong understanding of modern frontend frameworks (Typescript, React.js, Next.js, etc.).
• Solid backend knowledge using Node.js, Java, Goland, Rust, and Kubernetes, .
• Experience developing mobile or desktop applications using Swift is a plus.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS: EC2, Lambda, Dynamo, Redshift, ElasticCache, etc.) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall).
• Proficiency with Jira, GitHub, and team documentation tools (e.g., Notion, Confluence).
