We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Graphic Designer to help visually bring our brand stories to life across a wide range of consumer touchpoints.

Role Overview

As Creative Director, you will lead the execution of the brand’s creative expression across all channels. You will oversee the development of compelling, insight-driven campaigns that connect with pet parents, drive business growth, and elevate brand perception. This role blends conceptual leadership with hands-on creative direction, guiding a team of designers while partnering closely with other teammates in the marketing organization.

Core Responsibilities

As a Creative Director, You Will

  • Define and lead the creative vision across all brand touchpoints, ensuring a cohesive and differentiated brand presence in the market.
  • Translate insights into breakthrough creative platforms and campaigns that engage, inform, and inspire pet parents.
  • Direct and mentor a team of designers, writers, and external partners, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Oversee the development of integrated campaigns, spanning digital, social media, web, email, print, in-clinic experiences, and consumer marketing collateral.
  • Evolve the brand identity, ensuring consistency while pushing creative boundaries to keep the brand fresh and competitive.
  • Partner with teammates in marketing including lifecycle management, digital experience, digital marketing, and professional marketing to align creative output with business goals.
  • Provide clear, constructive creative direction and feedback, elevating the quality of work across all deliverables.
  • Lead concept development from ideation through execution, ensuring ideas are strategically sound and flawlessly executed.
  • Oversee production quality and standards, ensuring all assets meet brand, technical, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage external agencies, freelancers, and production partners as needed to scale creative output.

Essential Skills And Qualifications

Experience & Background

  • 10+ years of experience in creative roles, with a strong track record in marketing, advertising, or brand-led organizations.
  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing creative teams.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing concept-driven, integrated campaigns across digital, social, and print channels. Experience in logo development, branding and full design systems. Examples of work extending into video.
  • Experience in both B2B and B2C environments; background in healthcare, lifestyle, retail, or animal care is highly preferred.

Creative Leadership & Strategy

  • Experience managing other creatives and presenting ideas to senior management
  • Ability to connect creative ideas to business outcomes.
  • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to tell a clear, compelling narrative to multiple audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience building and evolving brand systems at scale.

Design & Technical Expertise

  • Deep expertise in visual design principles, including typography, layout, color, and composition.
  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with Figma and modern design tools.
  • Strong understanding of digital ecosystems, including web, social, email, and performance marketing.
  • Working knowledge of motion, video, and emerging formats is highly desirable.

Professional Skills

  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • High level of creative judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field (advanced degree a plus).
  • Experience working within complex or multi-brand organizations.
  • Experience overseeing agency relationships and large-scale campaign production.
  • Familiarity with data-driven creative, performance marketing, and customer journey optimization.

The base salary range for this position is $130,000, with flexibility. Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The Company offers competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision benefits, vacation, sick leave, 401(k), and more depending on location.
