The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing omnichannel marketing strategies that grow and develop the brands of the Managed IT Services Providers within Lyra North, including Nucleus Networks. This will require acting as a Marketing partner for various Managed IT Services Providers and requires a lot of hands-on with people who may or may not have any Marketing knowledge and experience.
Where possible, you’ll be paired with growth leaders of Lyra North MSPs to develop and document a marketing strategy. Look at this as a formal Statement of Work (SOW) per MSP that is defined and reviewed on a regular basis.
This is a versatile role that will require wearing many hats, getting your hands dirty, and the ability to act as a chameleon transforming into the Marketing Manager of Nucleus one day, and becoming the Marketing Manager of another MSP the next day. You will be responsible for defining the strategy in collaboration with the Regional CEO, local Growth Leader, and the CEO of the operating company. Ultimately, the CEO of the operating company will have the final say on decisions and budget investments as we operate in a decentralized model.
Where you’ll spend most of your time:
- Getting to know Nucleus and Lyra North MSPs in various markets and what makes them different
- Leverage MSP specific intel to develop and execute Marketing plans
- Developing ICP and Go-To-Market strategies (GTM) for each MSP
- Creating Marketing Statements of Work per Lyra North MSP that defines the engagement and strategy by quarter (90-day cycle, aligned with EOS rocks)
- Coordinate 3rd party vendors such as Website Development and SEO Consultants to execute on Marketing plans
- Extract MSP x-factors and unique value proposition even when MSPs technically compete against each other
- Building and configuring Sales & Marketing Automation
- List building within specific regions leveraging tools such as ZoomInfo and Apollo
- Activating and testing outbound email campaigns (sequencing)
- Setting up Google AdWords and other social media PPCs campaigns
- Creating digital graphics such as headers, icons, and other channel items
- Creating and refreshing brand content such as proposals, pitch decks, one-pagers, etc.
- Creating social and thought leadership content to ensure MSPs have a pulse
- Research trends, tools, tactics, and other ways to streamline and optimize the marketing engine for MSPs
- Assisting with day to day execution of MSP Marketing Strategies
- Weekly Marketing meetings with actively engaged Lyra North MSPs
- Weekly 1:1 with Regional CEO - North
- Weekly Lyra North POD Huddle
Requirements:
- Extensive HubSpot experience (mandatory)
- Experience with WordPress, Squarespace and other CMS platforms
- Experience with social media platforms and online digital properties
- Experience with Canva and other graphic design tools
- Experience in the IT services industry, ideally with MSPs
- Experience with SEO tactics and various analytics tools
- Experience with Microsoft teams, planner, and other organizational tools
- Proven experience in a previous Marketing role focused on lead generation
Key KPIs and how you’ll be measured (quantitative and qualitative):
- Lyra North MSP Brand awareness (channel growth, views, hits, etc.)
- Lyra North MSP Marketing Generated Leads
- New clients acquired from related marketing activities
- NPS feedback (every 6-months)
- GTM strategy in place for engaged OpCos by end of Q2
Compensation and Benefits:
- Location: Vancouver, BC (remote). We have two offices in Vancouver if you want to work a few days a week from the office.
- Salary: $85-000-95,000 CAD/year (depending upon experience)
