Fractional Software Engineer (Project-Based)

Role Description

This is not a single open position. We’re building a roster of experienced engineers, designers, and strategists who want to collaborate on future client projects as they come through.

Engagements are project-based and flexible. Some are short architecture sprints. Others involve full build-and-launch cycles. We assemble teams based on the problem, not headcount.

Who We’re Looking For

• Senior-level contributors who are comfortable operating with autonomy and clarity. This may include:
• AI / ML engineers (LLMs, applied ML, production pipelines)
• Full-stack developers (modern web stacks)
• Mobile engineers (iOS, Android, cross-platform)
• Product strategists and technical architects
• UI/UX designers with strong product instincts
• DevOps / infrastructure specialists

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in Computer Science concepts, including algorithms, data structures, and system design
• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including server-side programming and API creation
• Experience in Software Development and general Programming with attention to quality coding practices
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and their application to software projects
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment while taking ownership of individual deliverables
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new challenges
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
• Experience with cloud technologies, distributed systems, and scalable architectures is a plus
