To help us get there, we are looking for a Senior Java Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with a supportive and talented team

• Design, develop, and own end-to-end features and system components
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (standups, planning, retrospectives)
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and teammates
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Optimize SQL schemas and understand NoSQL trade-offs
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve bugs in production systems
• Implement scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions
• Automate deployments and contribute to CI/CD pipeline setup
• Follow and advocate for best practices in coding, design, and testing

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Proficient in Java and SQL
• Experience with Spring framework
• Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Understanding of microservices architecture and API design
• Skilled in writing various types of tests (unit, integration, end-to-end)
• Agile methodology experience (Scrum or Kanban)
• Effective communicator with strong collaboration skills
• Advanced English

Nice To Have

• Knowledge of testing tools such as JUnit, Wiremock, and Cucumber
• Experience with AWS cloud services
• Familiarity with Git, GitFlow/GitLab Flow, CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to DevOps practices, including Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience designing distributed, performant systems
• Ability to identify and resolve performance issues in complex architectures
