Job Description

Our mission is to help decision-makers in oncology and other specialty therapeutic areas, identify and reduce access barriers across the healthcare industry, ensuring patients have access to the treatments they need. Our web-based decision support application connects healthcare industry organizations and key influencers to deliver targeted quality insights to support our client’s customer engagement strategies. We are currently growing and are looking to bring on talented and driven individuals to help build the future of B2B healthcare data analytics products.

Responsibilites

The Software Engineer (Full-Stack, Remote) role is for someone who’s excited about building full-stack features and improving the overall experience for users, API standards, and data integrity, across multiple applications and teams. In this role, you will:

Collaborate with multiple product teams to build interfaces on top of our proprietary data sets
Support various ongoing projects across different business priorities and timelines
Provide technical solutions that meet diverse stakeholder requirements
Architect efficient and reusable front-end systems
Adapt to shifting priorities and maintain communication across time zones
Identify and resolve performance issues across multiple applications

Requirments

Basic knowledge of React, GraphQL, Express, Node and Django
Experience working in globally distributed teams
Familiarity with asynchronous communication and collaboration tools
Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders
Experience working in test-driven development environments with robust CI/CD
Experience with JIRA or other project tracking software
Proven ability to work effectively in a remote environment with distributed teams
Bachelor's Degree.
7-10 years of relevant industry experience.
Proficiency in writing clean, performant JavaScript code and Typescript.
Excellent written communication skills with the ability to document work clearly for team members.
Deep understanding of cross-browser differences, JavaScript and Python performance tradeoffs, and profiling and debugging tools.
Passion for building clean and modern user interfaces that enable users to solve their problems.
Ability to work within tight deadlines to deliver products.
Working knowledge of the API request-response cycle.
Experience and knowledge with React.
Demonstrated ability to learn continuously, work independently, and make decisions with minimal supervision.
Participate in all scheduled agile team meetings
Develop features within our MERN mono-repo with minimal knowledge transfer
Start owning a domain of the code base
Finish all sprint work to deadline with quality PR descriptions and code
Knowledge matter expert on domain(s) of the code base
Independently refine and develop product roadmap items
Work directly with product and design to iterate and realize deliverables
Start developing features within our microservice applications (Django + PostgreSQL)
Experimentation with newer technologies, such as AI, for feature development
Project plan major initiatives to improve code base(s) and infrastructure
