POSITION SUMMARY
As a member of the Brand Marketing team, the Senior Marketing Analyst assumes responsibility for gathering data to support the strategic planning & growth goals for the business. This position will be expected to be the POS data expert and use analytics to influence and inform business performance, new product development, distribution planning, and more. The ideal candidate has a passion for storytelling through data, hunting insights, and responsible data governance.

Essential Function Statement(s)
- Analyze syndicated POS data and make informed business recommendation related to products, channels, pricing, etc.
- Utilize consumption data & track product performance to evaluate success and provide guidance on optimization
- Use market and consumer insights to inform innovation and product pipeline
- Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual business reports to drive strategic brand planning
- Create the marketing data roadmap for POS/consumption, panel data, and shipment revenue to align with strategies to grow sales and share
- Act as a shared service across brand teams – work to build learning plans and roadmaps that service distinct brand categories
- Lead special and ad hoc analytics projects as needed
- Maintain best practices with data integrity

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Computer Skills:
- Must be proficient with MS Office and have advanced Excel and PPT skills.
- Proficiency in syndicated POS data, consumer panel data required (Nielsen, Circana (IRI), SPINS, Stackline, DOMO, DAAP, Satori, or similar
- Proficiency in analyzing internal sales performance (revenue, profit) required
Other Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in syndicated data analytics in the CPG space (dietary supplement experience a plus)
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field required
- Experience in presenting data analysis to key stakeholders and decision makers
- Strong analytical skills – experience with syndicated data highly preferred
- Ability to work autonomously and learn quickly
- Strategic analytical thinking and problem solving

- Consumer insights or research experience a plus
