About This Opportunity

Welcome to Nordea Life! We are the market leader in Finnish Savings life insurance business and we add value by providing our customers suitable products & services to various life situations in savings and risk insurance area. You’ll join the team with fellow Product Owners, Product Managers and Business Developers. The job is currently based in Kaisaniemi, Helsinki.

As the Product Owner, you’ll play a valuable role by bringing your own insight and ideas into our business development. You collaborate closely with both business and IT- stakeholders to identify and deliver solutions that create value for our customers.

What you’ll be doing:

• Act as a Product Owner role for an offshore development team
• Manage the team backlog, ensuring clear prioritization aligned with business goals
• Participate in refinement sessions, sprint planning, and reviews to ensure smooth delivery and shared understanding within the team
• Gather, analyze and translate business needs into clear and actionable backlog items for your team
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers and other teams both at Nordea Life and Nordea Bank to find solutions to real-life problems
• Help us to build a seamless omni-channel customer experience aligned with Nordea Bank

• You have experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst, or have worked in some other similar role within the savings & investments area

• You can translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable backlog items
• You are able to make decisions and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
• You have been described as a great team player and you enjoy working with a wide range of stakeholders
• You have an agile mindset and you are eager to lead, coach and empower others
• You are a good communicator and skilled at stakeholder management
• You are well-organized and you have a passion to follow your product from business definition phase to a value adding digital service in production
• You are familiar with SAFe and DevOps
• You are fluent in Finnish and English (written and spoken)
• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a relevant field
