The Position:

NLign is creating a new market category with our software product. We are looking for a creative, results-driven marketing leader who can own and execute a marketing vision to accelerate business growth and market leadership working to develop this new category. In this role, you will lead development, execution, and optimization of marketing strategies to build brand awareness, generate leads, and support business growth. You will be a marketing architect and executional driver, managing one direct report and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer success, to ensure alignment in driving NLign Analytics’ marketing objectives.

Your Mission:

To generate an increasing stream of qualified leads, drive awareness in target market segments, and position NLign as the leader of our market category.

Job Responsibilities:

Strategy & Leadership:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategy and execution roadmap to support the company’s growth, product launches, and customer acquisition goals.
  • Build and optimize the marketing funnel to feed the sales pipeline with high-quality leads.
  • Evaluate and prioritize target markets and customer segments for expansion.
  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to align marketing initiatives with sales goals and product offerings.
  • Manage the marketing budget and contribute to company-wide financial planning.

Campaigns & Content:

  • Oversee content creation, including blog posts, case studies, social media content, and email campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
  • Manage and optimize digital marketing campaigns across various channels (SEO, SEM, paid media, email marketing, and social media).
  • Create compelling sales enablement content (case studies, presentations, one-pagers).
  • Own co-marketing efforts with partners and industry collaborators.

  • Plan and execute industry events, webinars, and conferences to enhance brand presence and engage with potential clients.
  • Expand our SEO and AI-driven discoverability across search platforms and emerging tools.
  • Design and implement lead generation strategies to increase the quality and quantity of leads, working closely with the sales team to convert leads into customers.
  • Understand how our product delivers value in each segment and tailor messaging accordingly.
  • Shape and protect the NLign brand through strategic messaging and content.

Market Insights & Positioning:

  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape and develop go-to-market plans.
  • Develop a set of materials designed to support the on-boarding and maintenance of our current and new partners.
  • Equip partners with the knowledge, tools, and resources to effectively sell and support a company's products or services, fostering strong relationships and driving mutual growth.
  • Work in conjunction with sales team to establish a calendar of partner events.

Team & Tools:

  • Analyze and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies based on data insights to maximize ROI.
  • Manage and grow the internal marketing team and relationships with vendors/agencies.
  • Be the power user of HubSpot and analytics tools to measure ROI and guide decisions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or business.
  • Background in B2B marketing for technical industries (software, AI/ML, manufacturing, aerospace, or defense) with a strong understanding of technical buyer personas.
  • Proven track record leading marketing strategy, brand positioning, lead generation, and go-to-market positioning.
  • Experience managing teams and cross-functional collaboration (sales, product, engineering).
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, demand generation, and analytics-driven decision making.
  • Experience working in a technical or engineering-driven company, with the ability to understand market-complex products or solutions.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling messaging that resonates with business and technical audiences.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools, HubSpot, and analytics platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the analytics or data science industry.
  • Knowledge of the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Experience in executing SEO campaigns.
