Senior Backend Software Engineer

Role Overview:

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with a strong frontend foundation to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience building applications with React, and is proficient in TypeScript, Next.js, and NestJS.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and implement robust, scalable backend services with NestJS

• Contribute to frontend features and components using React + Next.js

• Collaborate with our UI/UX, product, and DevOps teams

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code

• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers

• Help shape architectural decisions and best practices

Tech Stack:

• Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript

• Backend: NestJS, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and GraphQL APIs

• DevOps: Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes (bonus)

• Cloud: AWS (EKS, RDS, S3, Lambda – experience here is a plus)

Requirements:

• 5+ years professional experience with React

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript

• Hands-on experience with Next.js and NestJS

• Solid understanding of backend systems, databases, and REST/GraphQL APIs

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup

Nice to Have:

• Experience with microservices architecture

• Familiarity with Kubernetes or AWS infrastructure

• Past work in an agency or multi-client environment
