Position Overview:
US Pain Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Marketing with a strong background in healthcare marketing, specifically in the field of pain management. This role will involve overseeing the development, execution, and optimization of comprehensive marketing strategies for multiple clients across the United States. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in a senior marketing position, with a proven ability to manage a diverse portfolio of clients, a team of 5-10 people, and vendor relationships to deliver innovative, end-to-end marketing solutions that align with business goals and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to pain management services and solutions, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and client objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of marketing campaigns, from conception through to analysis and optimization.
- Develop marketing plans that effectively address customer pain points and enhance patient acquisition and retention strategies in the pain management sector.
Client Relationship Management:
- Manage multiple client accounts, ensuring that marketing strategies and execution meet client objectives and expectations.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing strategic counsel and presenting marketing insights and recommendations to improve client performance and ROI.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships through effective communication, trust-building, and a focus on results-driven outcomes.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5-10 marketing professionals, ensuring they have the necessary resources and guidance to succeed.
- Foster collaboration between internal teams (creative, content, digital, analytics, etc.) and external stakeholders to deliver cohesive and impactful marketing solutions.
- Ensure that the team stays up to date with the latest trends and best practices in healthcare marketing, particularly in the pain management space.
Vendor Relationship Management:
- Manage and nurture relationships with multiple third-party vendors, ensuring high-quality service and the effective execution of marketing campaigns and projects.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure that marketing strategies are executed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Identify new vendor opportunities and manage contracts to ensure optimal service delivery and cost efficiency.
Marketing Strategy Development (End-to-End):
- Oversee the creation and execution of all marketing materials, including digital content, print collateral, email campaigns, webinars, and social media strategies.
- Utilize both traditional and digital marketing channels to reach key target audiences, including patients, physicians, and healthcare providers.
- Conduct market research to understand patient needs, competitor activity, and industry trends to inform marketing strategies.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Use data-driven insights to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and strategies, ensuring continuous improvement and optimization.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as patient engagement, lead generation, brand awareness, and ROI.
- Provide regular reports and presentations to senior leadership and clients, showcasing campaign performance and opportunities for growth.
Budget Management:
- Manage and allocate the marketing budget effectively across various channels and campaigns.
- Ensure that marketing spend is aligned with overall business goals and client needs, and monitor ROI for each initiative.
Compliance & Industry Standards:
- Ensure that all marketing materials, campaigns, and communications comply with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and FDA guidelines for advertising and promotions in the pain management space.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in healthcare marketing.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Director of Marketing role, with at least 3 years of experience specifically in healthcare marketing or the pain management sector.
- Proven experience managing a team of 5-10 marketing professionals, leading their development, performance, and overall success.
- Strong experience managing relationships with multiple third-party vendors, ensuring smooth collaboration and effective execution of marketing initiatives.
- Proven experience managing multiple client accounts, particularly in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong track record of developing and executing successful end-to-end marketing strategies across various channels.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse group of professionals.
- Expertise in both traditional and digital marketing, including social media, SEO, PPC, content marketing, and email campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform decisions and optimize marketing strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to clients and senior leadership.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and marketing compliance, particularly related to pain management and patient care.
- Experience with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
