Job Summary:
The Senior Project Manager role is responsible for managing implementation projects for all Nextech products. Management includes planning & coordinating product implementations in accordance with best practice methodology, within the mutually defined timelines and within the project budget. This will include maintaining issue lists and managing to resolution implementation issues. There is a high degree of collaboration and negotiation required among internal departments to achieve a successful live for productive use of the software.

Essential Functions
- Creating and maintaining a project charter on each implementation project
- Negotiating mutually acceptable project objectives
- Creating project schedules
- Coordinating internal and third-party resources as necessary to deliver the project on time
- Identifying project risks and mitigating them
- Identifying and managing implementation issue lists to resolution (including escalations)
- Executing the project according to the project plan
- Manage clients in the Mid to Large space. This could include but is not limited to Consolidators, Enterprise and National clients.
- Setting up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured
- Monitoring the progress of the project and making adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
- Establishing a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the strategy, adjustments, and progress of the project
- Reviewing the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards
- Hiring, Training, Coaching
- Participate in the mentoring and coaching of junior project managers
- Participate in interviewing project team candidates, and refine the project onboarding process
- Establish best practices, policies, PM methodologies, templates, etc. and continually evolve these tools as the landscape of the industry changes
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 3+ years of Project Management and related experience
- Experience working with business stakeholders in related industries, including executive level C-suite
- Ability to demonstrate leadership, drive results, solve problems, and possess interpersonal skills from prior work situations
- Assertive with a demonstrated ability to cultivate strong relationships & influence behavior
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualification
- 5 years of experience in the Healthcare IT industry, specifically software implementation
- Knowledge of of applicable experience in one of Nextech’s main medical specialties
Working Environment/Physical Demands
- General office environment: Works generally at a desk in a well-lighted, air-conditioned cubicle/office, with moderate noiselevels.
- Long-distance or air travel as needed – less than 10%.
- Periods of stress may occur.
- Activities require a significant amount of sitting at office and work desks and in front of a computer monitor.
- Some walking and standing relative to interaction with other personnel.
