DevOps/Cloud Engineer

Job Description

• Be an active part of our development teams where you support your team by setting up and improve CI/CD pipelines with Github Actions and our Azure Infrastructure via Terraform;
• Fostering a DevOps culture in our teams to encourage collaboration and innovation by providing training and mentoring for developers to improve their DevOps skills;
• Conceptualize and implement deployment scenarios from the local development with Docker to running application on e.g. Azure App Service, Azure Functions;
• As part of our DevOps Hub Team you’ll continuous improve, monitor and maintain the SAG Cloud infrastructure to maintain system stability;
• Collaborate on data privacy and cyber security strategies;
• Establishing and enforcing coding standards to ensure code quality and maintainability;

Qualifications

• You have 5+ years of experience as a DevOps/Cloud engineer and know the advantages of the DevOps philosophy;
• You have an extensive experience using Azure cloud;
• You have profound experience in Terraform;
• You develop pragmatic solutions without losing focus on quality;
• You can also familiarise yourself with new or unknown technologies and have no problem working on several topics at the same time;
• You enjoy working as a technical consultant, who is able to use their expertise and excellent communication skills to provide training and mentoring;
• You are fluent in English (C1 level) & German (at least B2 level);
