Software Engineer in Test

Job Description :

• Translate user stories and technical requirements into test cases and automated scripts.

• Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, Zercde, Postman, etc.

• Develop and execute automated and manual tests across the software development lifecycle.

• Conduct debugging, log analysis, and root cause investigations.

• Advocate for shift-left testing to ensure quality is embedded early in the development process.

• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA engineers to align on quality standards and test coverage.

• Drive the adoption of quality engineering best practices across the team.

• Participate in design reviews to ensure testability and provide effort estimates.

• Continuously evaluate and integrate new tools, technologies, and processes for automation improvement.

• Own test planning, execution, and reporting within an Agile scrum team.

Skills & Qualifications:**

• 5+ years of QA/SDET experience in Agile environments.

• Strong experience with Selenium, Cypress, Zercde, Postman, and test automation tools.

• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps pipelines and CI/CD practices.

• Proven ability to create and maintain scalable, maintainable test automation frameworks.

• Strong debugging skills and experience working with distributed systems.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
