NewNode AI is hiring experienced Data Science and Analytics professionals to support a high-impact initiative with a leading AI organization.

Experts will create reasoning-based analytical datasets that strengthen advanced AI systems’ ability to interpret and reason through complex information.

This is a unique opportunity to apply analytical and engineering expertise to shape the next generation of intelligent data analysis tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large, structured datasets provided by partner organizations.
• Develop reasoning-based analytical questions that involve multi-step problem solving and data interpretation.
• Write and validate Snowflake SQL queries (with the option to use DuckDB, pandas, or Python notebooks) to address these questions.
• Produce clear, well-structured explanations that articulate analytical reasoning and insights.
• Format deliverables into structured JSON outputs containing the question, query, and answer.
• Ensure quality and consistency through collaboration and reviewer feedback.

Ideal Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in data analytics, data science, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience in DuckDB or pandas preferred.
• Strong background in data exploration, statistical reasoning, and business intelligence.
• Experience using tools such as iPython, Jupyter Notebooks, or GitHub.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to explain complex reasoning clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.

Project Timeline

• Duration: Approximately 2 months
• Commitment: 15 hours per week
• Schedule: Fully remote and asynchronous

Compensation & Contract

• Rate: $100 per hour
• Position: Independent contractor
• Payments: Daily via Stripe Connect
