Newmark is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer with an ability to produce high quality, creative professional real estate marketing materials at speed in partnership with marketing, research, brokers and other team members. This is a high-volume, high-visibility role requiring a keen eye for detail and the ability to work primarily from Newmark’s established template library, adapting and extending those layouts to fit each pursuit and property with limited supervision.
Every opportunity brings significant customization - most notably bespoke maps, aerials, and market graphics tailored specifically around each assignment or potential assignment; at times, you will design new materials where no template exists. You will bring expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
This role requires strict adherence to Newmark’s corporate brand standards and creative range exists within that system.
This position is remote, with core business hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET and occasional after-hours work as deadlines require.
Responsibilities:
- Support multiple teams across the Multifamily Capital Markets platform, frequently with multiple deliverables in flight at once.
- Produce business development and property marketing collateral from Newmark’s established template library, including pitches, presentations, brochures, offering memorandums, email campaigns, websites, invitations, signage, and event collateral.
- Customize each deliverable to its property and audience - building bespoke maps, aerials, site plans, and market graphics for every assignment.
- Design new materials and layouts when no suitable template exists; contribute templates back to the library for reuse.
- Maintain and improve the template library, keeping files organized, current, and easy for others to work from.
- Manage concurrent projects against tight and frequently shifting deadlines, maintain consistent quality.
- Partner with marketing, research, brokers, sales professionals, and analysts to clarify project objectives and deliver on schedule.
- Serve as a brand steward for the platform, ensuring every deliverable adheres to Newmark’s corporate brand standards for logo usage, typography, color palette, and photography - and advising colleagues on correct application.
- Develop property-level brand identities - wordmarks, color palettes, and typography - for repositioning and rebranding assignments, within Newmark’s corporate standards.
- Research and assemble market data, then translate it into clear market overviews, infographics, and charts.
- Track industry trends and competitor marketing to keep our creative approach current.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for photography and video/aerial footage as needed.
- Respond to client and internal requests for information.
Qualifications:
- Commercial real estate experience highly preferred
- 5+ years of graphic design experience in a corporate creative department, agency, or design studio.
- Demonstrated experience producing work within an established corporate brand system or template library.
- Track record of delivering a high volume of work on tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.Expert command of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), including strong InDesign template, style, and master-page skills.
- Comfort building maps, aerials, and site plans in Illustrator, working from source imagery, parcel data, or GIS exports.
- Portfolio demonstrating strong typography, layout, and data visualization.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, particularly PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
- Proven ability to prioritize competing deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Resourceful problem-solver who anticipates issues and troubleshoots independently.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in graphic design, fine arts, or multimedia.
